Time is very strong. We all get stuck in some such problem in our life when the help of others is needed.. No matter how much we are able and capable. Helping should be in our habit. This should be our nature. It is part of a spiritual practice.
Once a person was going from Mumbai to Poona in his car on the highway. There was a serious accident on the way. A lot of crowd was gathered. He thought lets go, what would he do stopping. Will be someone. Everyday many people die in the world. What difference does it make if one more dies.
He reached his home. Just He was sitting after taking a bath that a policeman came. He informed that your son who was coming from Mumbai to Poona by bike. He has an accident on the highway and He is admitted in a hospital at Mumbai. We got a card from his pocket, so that we came to know your address.
He remembered the exact accident. And immediately ran for Mumbai. He was dead before he reached the hospital. He was regretting himself. If he were stopped there. By time his son would have reached the hospital and he might have survived.
He did not stop there because it was not in his nature to help. He had never helped anyone. If help was in his nature, he would definitely stop. Why you can not help others. If you could save someone else’s life, you should do it.
God always helps those who help others. They never have any shortage. It is not only for humans. Help means life, it includes animals, birds and even plants. You help nature.
Helping others, make the world better place to live.
The Give and Take theory
Helping others paves the way for our success. We certainly receive when we give to others without the intention of receiving. Become a donor. People who have a habit of taking, always beg for life, no matter how much money they have.
At some point, everyone must have helped to show the way to the blind or helped an injured creature. By doing this, we feel lightness in our souls throughout the day. Our soul gets overwhelmed. By doing this, the load gets off our soul. When we help someone without wishing in return.
And if we make helping, serving become part of our life, then we serve God. We get it without asking. God blesses us.
Our Intention should be to give, It does not matter how and which way we are giving. Helping others is the secret mantra to living a life that is not only happier but also healthier, wealthier, more productive and meaningful.
How you can help others
If your are able to help someone needy by money, You should do it. You can feed a hungry person. Can donate for public goodness.
Sometimes the gift of time is more valuable to the receiver and more satisfying to the giver than the gift of money. If we do not have money to help, then we can devote our time to help others. The point is that we can dedicate our lifetime to service, or just give a few hours a day or a few days a year.
Sometimes it can happen that we have neither money nor time, we all have relations and resources. Our relationships are our earnings. We can help someone with references. We can help others by recommending someone. Can help someone in getting employment. We can get someone out of trouble or help us get ahead in life.
By experience and knowledge
Our experience is our capital, which we earn by spending our life. There are many people who keep their knowledge limited to themselves. And their knowledge ends with them. It is good that we use our knowledge and experience to help others.
The Spiritual Connection
All the planets, stars in the universe are connected to each other by magnetic force. They are in their orbit due to each other’s magnetic force. Otherwise, these planets would not revolve in a fixed orbit and go straight out on an infinite path. In this way, they help each other to stay. And because of which this creation is going on.
All of us may have differences, differences of opinion or may be unknown to each other. But we all receive the energy of the same sun. Breathe in from the same atmosphere. And live on the same soil. We are all connected to each other. All planets, all stars, and humans have a direct impact on our lives.
The way the planets help each other, In the same way when we help someone, we also get helped.
Factors of Help
Helping nature has two factors, empathy and compassion. Empathy is temporary or can vary to person to person. It is temporary. While compassion comes from the bottom of the heart. Compassion is born of spirituality.
Compassion is at the core of help. And those who do not have compassion cannot be helpful.
Helping nature requires compassion. Only a compassionate person can help. It has a spiritual connection as well as a psychological connection.
How Compassion Benefits us?
Compassion has ensured our survival due to the tremendous benefits of both physical and mental health and overall well-being. Connecting others in a meaningful way gives us better mental enjoyment. Speed to recover from physical health and illness; It can also prolong our lifespan.
The “pleasure center” in the brain, that is, the parts of the brain that are active when we experience pleasure like sweets, money and sex, are equally active when we see someone giving money to charity. When we ourselves receive wealth! When we spend money on ourselves, we also feel good for others.
They are very happy people who are less focused on satisfying themselves and more focused on benevolence, compassion. They lead rich lives in the true sense.
When we are going through some disease, trouble and we go to a priest or a monk. So we are asked to donate to the leprosy ashram or any poor, or needy person. Donation means to help the needy. When it is done from the bottom of the heart, compassion is included in it. This is a psychological fact. It is based on the science of the mind.
Compassion can promote our well-being if we increase our sense of connection with others. The lack of social connection is a greater obstacle to health than obesity, smoking, and hypertension.
On the other hand, strong social relationships increase the probability of longevity by 50 percent. Social connection strengthens our immune system, helps us recover from disease faster.
People who feel more connected to others have lower rates of anxiety and depression. They also have higher self-esteem, are more sympathetic to others, more trustworthy and cooperative and, as a result, others are more open to trust and cooperate with them.
Social engagement therefore generates a positive feedback loop of social, emotional and physical well-being. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true for those who lack social connectedness.
A reduced social relationship is generally associated with a decline in physical and psychological health, as well as a higher propensity for antisocial behavior that leads to further isolation.
Adopting a compassionate lifestyle or cultivating compassion can help promote social connection and improve physical and psychological health.
